I have always been an Xbox user, I like both the 360 and the PS3, but now I'm starting to want to get the PS4, since my trust and expectations for the Xbox One is starting to drop :/ I'm actually beginning to worry for the Xbox One.
It always suprises me with people reaction to the Xbox, even the 360, and the number of people who say I have been through 4 or 5 consoles. Our 1st gen has only just died and that was due to it getting moved around so much that the video port got damaged, and my 3rd gen had to have a replacement drive again due to accidental damage, otherwise they have still been going strong. Part of me wonders if there is an issue in build depending if you are US or UK
The Ps4 seems legit. Besides i never really cared for Xbox.I'm not saying Xbox was bad. The games PlayStation produces are usually ones that say only on PlayStation. been playing it since ps2 anyways so it should be awesome
would get both if i could but the majority of the games that are coming out on xbox will make the jump to the ps4 soon enough, likes of EA will never go console exclusive, so i'm going with the cheaper option
After E3, I was like ew, what the hell, Xbox?! Sooo many things were wrong with what they announced and Playstation absolutely ripped them to shreds... But then, they announced that they dropped the DRM restrictions and that stupid idea of daily online authentication nonsense [link]
So I say: Xbox One! Although I probably won't be buying one anytime soon - give it like 2-3 years after launch.
I'm in no rush for another system, but that's a big HELL NO to the Xbox one. My ass I'll pay an additional fee to Microsoft to play a used/borrowed game. Plus the heartbeat-sensing Kinect is like a soulless robot Daredevil....
maybe PS4 eventually. for the first while none of them. My pc is more powerful anyway XD liking some of the ps4 exclusives though & M$ seem to have messed up big. I dont understand anyone who stays with a consol brand out of loyalty " I've always had a [brand here] consol so ill get this' " every one should pick whichever one they think is the best for there money.
My family has been PS since 1, we'll stick with what we love! It's superior to all other consoles by far. I've owned multiple Nintendo DS, PC games, and PS's. And, all of our relatives have Xbox, Wii, and PC and even they agree PS is the best(aside from an uncle who loves his PC!).
When you compare all the consoles, PS is the way to go!
You know you're pretty much mocking every console except the one you like right? Everything ATM is amazing, the wii u is getting fresh games in comparison to it's predecessor, 3ds is a different set of hardware with godlike games, I literally went into game store and wanted every game that was on show.
And of course ps4 coming with amazing exclusives and upgradable components. Don't bash the other consoles.... Unless it's xbox, screw xbox.
I was simply stating the opinions of me and people I know. Truth be told, the DS doesn't have very good graphics on their action/adventure/rpg games, but, has a few good games with excellent plots; for example, Legend of Zelda. The Wii U isn't very good, but is similar to the DS in that it has a few games with good plots.
PC is bad to me in almost all ways. I never found any of the games to have good plots or extremely good graphics. That's just me, I know plenty of people LOVE it and that is good for them. I would never hope the systems went out or got canceled. They all have something unique about them.
In my experience, the PS games; especially more recent ones, have the best graphics and games. For example, Uncharted, Assassins Creed, Tomb Raider, Elder Scrolls: Skyrim, Call of Duty, Dragon Age: Origins, God of War, Shadow of the Colossus, inFamous, Red Dead Redemption, The Last of Us, Fallout, Little Big Planet, The Lego Games, Ratchet and Clank, Tony Hawk, and even more; and even a few sports games, Madden, NHL, NFL, NBA, PGA, etc. A few of those games, The Last Of Us, inFamous, Uncharted, etc. are exclusive to PS3.
Just my opinion, no need to freak. Have a nice day!
I'm not freaking or anything, it was just that your first comment was our across extremely bluntly. Plus a PC with the right specs will always beat a console (any console) in graphics, performance, loading times, steam, etc. The literal only problems with pc is that it is all dependable on the money you spend and that isn't cheap and falls short on exclusives. Almost every game ever that has been able to perform on all platforms has ran better in a pc.
As for the PC, money is a major problem for many people, but, I have seen my uncle(who spends plenty on upgrades and even built his own computer) and can honestly say, I am not impressed by graphics. As for the loading time and steam, that is definitely a plus, but the games themselves are not so great. They are equally as good as PS3 in graphics(Dark Souls/Skyrim) or worse(World of Warcraft).
I wouldn't waste my money or time on PC games. Like I said, its just my opinion. I know plenty of people who love the PC, my sister, brother, and uncle for a few. I don't.
That is fair to say I guess. But the point you made out was not revolving around the console but the actual output of what the producers make of the game. Plus PC has technically two graphics option the in-game one and to colour balance an contrasting the the actual adjustable drivers.
Dark souls was a low budget game the graphics were expected not to be good and also dark souls on pc was an extremely lazily done last minute port so not the best choice in games to cherry pick. Skyrim is a very overrated game with a lot of flaws in both shadow/lighting effects, easy to exploit AI's and in being clunky with a large variety of specific graphics cards i.e. spell effects not showing on newly released nvidia and AMD graphics cards. And world of warcraft is an MMO that is meant to be in a cartoon style and under went the collosul overhall in terms of modelling in the new areas. Not only is it a huge world with very few instanced areas, but the game revolves around building off of old foundation models, not making new ones. This is a problem with the game companies themselves not the platforms they are running from.
As of said, there are plenty of reasons to get a PS3 over a PC so it shouldn't be needed to make ones up.
I wasn't making anything up, just stating my opinion on games and system. And my opinion doesn't necessarily mean its factual for everyone. That's the thing about opinions, its what you believe, not what everyone else does.
I believe that the era of console gaming is about to die a horrendous death. I've never been much of a PS player and I think the Xbox One is a huge disappointment. Might have to revert to PC gaming and relishing the last 360 releases.
