Each fortnight we will conduct a new Test Subject (artwork), something new and quirky, something completely random. Check it out, our first experiment will be ready on the 27th.. Chamber 21 is a go

I know this is completely random for a DA journal.. But I thought it'd be the best place to find help

I'm trying out the new ICEnhancer for GTA IV: [link]
And I've successfully installed it and it looks great! But I have a problem, the game is lagging majorly! Everything is moving really slow and I can barely take a few steps.. I have a feeling it's something to do with Steam.. It was still kind of slow when I fired up GTA IV before the ICEnhancer.. And I have a good graphics card (1GB) and also, when I pause the game there is no text in the display, it's invisible!

Does anyone know what my problem might be? Any help would be appreciated, I'd love to be able to play the game without lag

I was actually thinking of doing University but I can't really spare the time these days, I just really want to expand! If anyone knows of anything that can help me learn this type of thing, that would help out so much, I don't know the first place to start so any help would be great.

- Other news

Recently I've had little time for my own art, I've taken on two big jobs that I will need to work on through this year, if things go well I'll finally be doing something extraordinary with my work. It's something I can't discuss right now, very confidential but as soon as it's all good to go I'll let you all know It's very exciting time for me!

But don't worry I will still find time to keep my own work flowing, my aim right now is to finish my Uncharted 3 picture but I still like to bang out a few photoshop sketches for fun.

I'm having a personal website created for myself, it will showcase all of my art in a more professional manner But I need to have some good ideas if I want it to work out well for me.

If you know of any good examples that you could link me to that would help out a lot, something sleek and professional but with some edge

I would appreciate it, I just need to get some direction going. Then I can go ahead and show my web designer the way I want to go with it. I'm planning on having a similar thing to my DA account but with more of a portfolio setup.

I have no artwork up just yet, for some reason I can't upload any.. Must be a bug or something. I try but the upload just goes forever and the file is only 1.5mb..
But as soon as I can I'll upload most of my artwork and keep updating it with new work as I go

Okay so at the moment I'm kind of juggling between a few different commissions, so my usual fanart is pushed aside for now, although I am still adding to my new piece every now and then. It's another Skyrim piece (while I'm in the zone) but this one will be a bigger one than the last, full body and and few enemies around, that sort of thing.

The commissions I'm doing I can't really speak of right now but I'll post them up once I get the OK I've been drawing a lot of different characters though, busy busy.

I'm about to try clay sculpting for the first time.. I want to try and sculpt a figure of a warrior or something, or a fighter. Maybe something from a game even.

Does anyone have any good tips for me? I know absolutely nothing so it'll be good to know the tools I need too. Any good links to tutorials or sites of figures would be much appreciated

Once my sculpture is done I'll take plenty of photos and upload them for all to see
I just want to try new things to see how far my creativity can reach

Just bought the clay Super Sculpy thanks to some good recommendations, and some good sculpting tools Actually I think I still need a scalpel..
