Why So Serious by PatrickBrown Why So Serious by PatrickBrown
Ok well I wached The Dark Knight AGAIN! And felt like doing another Joker pic, I was originally going to just have Joker by himself but I thought this might add a little more to it!

I was actually just sketching for the fun of it, then I kind of liked how the sketch came out, then I got a bit carried away haha! I'm glad I did this, I'm feeling back into the swing of things now (after my little break). So expect to see more art, more often ;)

Please let me know what you think :D
The Joker is one of the most liked characters and there are so many versions of him out there, I'd love to know where mine fits in haha!

Thanx and enjoy :woohoo:

Your vision on both characters is trully top notch. Batman battles with adversity on most of his "missions", while the Joker is always having fun even if in trouble.

Originality wise, one can't really talk much since both characters are more then seen all over the world... but like always you manage to put your stamp on all your characters, they just get that feeling, you make them look original characters for a couple of seconds and that's really great stuff to behold.

Technique is just wow, your line work is what I like the most on your work, I also like the perspective madness that all your pieces have, this one is really amazing, specially the Joker pose, makes him look like it's really easy to kick a.s.s. and take names while doing it. I also believe the way you transpose a schetch to digital work is really top notch.

Impact wise it's pretty simple, it's Batman and the Joker, that's good enough! But... no... you had to make it look even cooler! Damn you :)

Two thumbs up!

That picture is full of energy and action!
I like the light flash /explosion in the background alot and how everything seems to comes out.
The little motion blur on the cards looks pretty good.. like they would fly out of the picture every moment.

I cannot really criticise alot in this picture because its really good drawn, colored and awesome planned out. Theres just a few things that look a little unnatural.
How the joker holds batmans head for example. Batmans facial expression shows that his head is stuck in the jokers arm but when you look at his arm it seems a little lose. I guess the big shadow and the room in between the arm/wrist and batmans head make it seem like that. I think it should be just a little tighter.
The other thing is I miss Batmans legs and feet a little. Of course you cannot see alot of them in this perspective but they should be shown a little bit beside the left leg (his righ one but left from my view) of the Joker.
Thats it. Everything else looks pretty awesome!
I love pictures that seem like they would move and this does!
Pretty good work!

I like how the Joker is smiling. Is like the Comics Joker was mixed with TDK Joker to make the most awesome Joker Ever.

Very good, the drawing just seems to be channeling the idea of the Dark Knight posters with the background. Absolutely lovely :)
