Ok well I wached The Dark Knight AGAIN! And felt like doing another Joker pic, I was originally going to just have Joker by himself but I thought this might add a little more to it!
I was actually just sketching for the fun of it, then I kind of liked how the sketch came out, then I got a bit carried away haha! I'm glad I did this, I'm feeling back into the swing of things now (after my little break). So expect to see more art, more often
Please let me know what you think The Joker is one of the most liked characters and there are so many versions of him out there, I'd love to know where mine fits in haha!
The use of lighting, fog, depth, motion, and even the little extras like the bottle and paper on the ground are perfect. It all adds so much personality and character to the piece without it feeling overwhelming or too complicated.
I especially love the use of the little embers or sparks - they add a good amount of colour contrast to the blue so that the picture doesn't feel too monotone or bland.
My only critique about the piece is where are Batman's legs? lol! But, it is a comic-styled piece, and not everything has to be present to make an amazing and high impacting piece.
I always look forward to seeing your artwork in my inbox - you never fail to provide an ample amount of eye candy in each and every piece you do!
Wow! That picture is full of energy and action! I like the light flash /explosion in the background alot and how everything seems to comes out. The little motion blur on the cards looks pretty good.. like they would fly out of the picture every moment.
I cannot really criticise alot in this picture because its really good drawn, colored and awesome planned out. Theres just a few things that look a little unnatural. How the joker holds batmans head for example. Batmans facial expression shows that his head is stuck in the jokers arm but when you look at his arm it seems a little lose. I guess the big shadow and the room in between the arm/wrist and batmans head make it seem like that. I think it should be just a little tighter. The other thing is I miss Batmans legs and feet a little. Of course you cannot see alot of them in this perspective but they should be shown a little bit beside the left leg (his righ one but left from my view) of the Joker. Thats it. Everything else looks pretty awesome! I love pictures that seem like they would move and this does! Pretty good work!
